As Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) adapts itself to the impacts of significant social, environmental and economic disruptions, innovative practices have emerged with great potential to rejuvenate the future of TVET. Current developments in TVET suggest that many types of innovative practices are already being developed or deployed, significantly changing the way we define and practice TVET.
Promoting Gender Equality in STEM-related TVET
On 21 to 22 March, UNESCO-UNEVOC was hosting an experts’ workshop in Bonn, Germany on gender equality in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related fields in Technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The workshop sought to better understand the root causes of gender disparities in STEM-related TVET through discussions with experts from ten UNEVOC Centers across the globe.
